Can you believe there are only 5 more months to 2021? Where has this year gone? When the month of August starts, the first thing I always think of is back to school. The 2nd thing I think of is College Football will be gracing the screen of my TV very soon. I also visualize the start of somewhat cooler weather and, for some strange reason, pumpkins. OK, so maybe it’s too soon for pumpkins, but they are coming soon. More about them later.
When kids go back to school, parents everywhere are scrambling to purchase the required supplies that the teachers for the upcoming year are requiring. Notebooks, pens, pencils, are just a few of the necessary items needed to get your child started for the new learning year. Many trips to the mall or the highlands must be made in order for your kids to get the perfect jeans, hoodies and that expensive pair of shoes that they just absolutely “have to have” to wear to school. New lunchboxes and backpacks also make the list of needed items.
Something that a lot of parents forget about though are their children’s teeth and their eyes. In my opinion, those two things, as a parent, are the things that should be a priority. You certainly don’t want to send you child back to school if they are having issues seeing. Or, if they need their teeth cleaned and checked. So why do some parents neglect this very important need? One of the reasons may be the cost and the simple fact that they do not have that type of coverage on their current insurance. Or, they may not have insurance at all. That is where Citywide Insurance can step in and help.
We offer two plans that can provide you with the financial assistance on your child’s dental and eyesight needs.
The first plan that Citywide offers is the Ameritas plan. On Citywide’s website, just enter your zip code and answer the basic QUESTIONS THAT are asked, and you get prices on various dental and vision plans. This is a great way to get an idea of what all coverage for your family can cost, and the best part is the experienced team of professionals at Citywide will be right there to answer any additional questions you may need answered.
The other plan you will see on the Citywide website is Delta Dental, which of course is only dental coverages. Fill in the three questions and up pops all the different coverages and process. It’s so easy!
These two plans are perfect ways to ensure that your children’s eyesight and teeth are always taken care of. Please don’t let your children go without these two very important necessities when going back to school.
Call us at Citywide Insurance and let us help you with your questions or to help you enroll in the chosen plan. We are there for you and your children!
Here’s looking forward to Football and Pumpkins coming very soon!
